17 Eritrean refugees Sank in Setit River

17 Eritrean sank in the Setit River (atbara), on 23 January, while they trying
to cross, by boat, into the other side, in an attempt to escape from alshagarab
Camp, Which has become very crowded from Eritrean refugees, source said to GIC
toady, the boat sank in the river as a result of excess cargo and severe storms,
source added.
It is noteworthy that the UNHCR established a new camp in Alshagrab to accommodate
new refugees, where sources close to UNHCR office said that 2500 Eritrean Fled
to Sudan within the past month
