The Eritrean authorities has
released, last Saturday, journalist and
broadcaster Ahmed Omer Sheik after arresting him
for about a week without giving any
justification, informed sources said.
It
is worth mentioned that Reporters without
Borders Organization has denounced the
arrestment of a number of journalists working at
the Eritrean Ministry of Information. Ahmed is
the second journalist who is released by the
authorities after the release of journalist
Simon Zewde last week.
