In
January 31, 2009, 40 new refugees from Eritrea 11 of which women arrived
at the Sudanese refugee camp of Shegraib. Eritrean People’s Party could
not provide the age and gender details of the new arrivals at this time.
Sources of Eritrean People’s Party say the total number of Eritreans who
sought political asylum in the Sudanese refugee camp of Shegraib in the
month of January has reached 2030.
