A total of
407 Eritrean refugees have arrived at the Sudanese refugee camp of
Shegraib between 10 and 17 January 2009. The following table shows the

The number of Eritreans
crossing from Eritrea into Sudan has been on the increase in recent
weeks. At least, since the start of the New Year, 894 Eritrean refugees
have arrived at the Sudanese refugee camp of Shegraib, seeking political
asylum.
